Did you know that the director of scream actually stars in it as freddie from nightmare on elm street which he also directed. He appears just before the headmaster is killed.

According to current rumours Scream 3 is on the cards. The basic story is that sidney goes to hollywood to become a movie star at the same studio where stab 2 is being filmed. Courtney Cox, Neve Campbell and David Arquette are set to return reprising their roles from the other Scream Movies.
